Half masks enclose the mouth, nose and chin, quarter masks only the mouth and nose. The sealing line runs across the bony bridge of the nose, the cheeks and below the chin in the case of half masks or above the chin in the case of quarter masks. Half and quarter masks may have inhalation and exhalation valves. Only filters with a maximum weight of 300 g are permitted for half masks.

3M Half mask 6500 series
3M™ 6500 Series reusable half masks for the toughest and dirtiest work environments. Stay productive and protected – the 6500 Series offers durability and dimensional stability thanks to a firm but soft silicone face seal and a sturdy mask body.
The 6500 Series is available in two styles: the 6500QL with quick release for fast and easy mask removal and the standard 6500 model. Both styles are available in three sizes and can also be paired with 3M™ compressed air systems for added comfort and flexibility.

3M Half mask series 7500
The 3M™ 7502 half mask is both robust and extremely comfortable. It is made of skin-friendly silicone and has a “drop-down” strap. This circumferential strap allows the mask to be worn comfortably in front of the chest during short breaks in work, instead of having to take it off completely. Also comfortable are its innovative detail solutions as well as its perfect seal fit due to the structured face seal. Pleasant breathing is supported by the double-filter system, which also has the positive effect of a good weight distribution. The mask also features an extensive range of filters and spare parts and is easy to handle and maintain. The bayonet click filter connection works safely and quickly. The half mask is available in 3 sizes – this model is size M. The 3M™ 7502 half mask is compatible with 3M™ safety glasses. Approved to EN 140:1998 standard, the protection level of the mask depends on the 2000, 5000 and 6000 series filters used in each case.

Sundström half mask SR 100
This comfortable half mask is made of soft silicone and is available in two sizes. It has two exhalation valves, which ensure particularly low breathing resistance. In addition, the cupped facepiece provides a secure and comfortable fit. The continuously adjustable headgear optimally adapts the mask to any skull shape.

Sundström half mask SR 900
The SR 900 half mask is made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomers) and polypropylene (PP) and is available in three sizes S, M and L. The mask is equipped with two exhalation valves, which are characterized by extremely low breathing resistance. The valve caps with shields protect the exhalation membrane against dust and color particles.
Material and color pigments of the mask body are approved for food (FDA), so the risk of contact allergies is kept to a minimum. The easily adjustable straps represent a V-loop and have a large cupped headpiece that allows for comfortable and secure adjustment. The mask is used either as a filter protector in combination with filters from the Sundström range or, in combination with SR 307 compressed air additive, is converted into a continuous airflow respirator for connection to compressed air.
